Our client wanted to transform an older property with a fresh, bright and modern kitchen design. The aim was to bring the space up to date while maximising the layout and creating a more open, welcoming feel.
The design focused on a striking but balanced colour scheme, combining indigo shaker-style doors with marble-effect laminate worktops and upstands. Crisp white walls and ceilings helped reflect light around the room, making the kitchen feel larger and brighter.
Because the property was empty and the client had a busy work schedule, she asked Shore Fit Kitchens & Bathrooms to fully project manage the renovation from start to finish.
The project involved a complete transformation of the kitchen space.
The work included:
Full rip-out of the existing kitchen
New electrical installation
Plumbing updates
Gas work to install the new hob
Plastering throughout
Installation of the new Salarno kitchen range
Fitting of marble-effect laminate worktops and appliances
A team of trusted trades worked on the project including an electrician, plumber, Gas Safe engineer, plasterer and kitchen fitter.
Because a full inspection and planning process took place before work began, the installation ran smoothly and was completed on schedule.
The completed kitchen delivered exactly what Fiona was looking for — a modern, bright and highly functional space.
The new layout maximised the room’s potential and made the space feel noticeably larger. The indigo shaker doors became the standout feature, beautifully contrasted by the light marble worktops and white décor.
