About The Project

Mr & Mrs Gibbons loved their kitchen’s size but found the layout awkward and storage inefficient. The space looked big but didn’t flow well — they were constantly struggling to find a place for everything.

At Shore Fit Kitchens & Bathrooms, our goal was to create a design that made the kitchen feel cohesive, with improved storage solutions, a better layout, and a comfortable seating area that fit perfectly without compromising space.

The Process & The Kitchen Design & Build In Progress

This project was a full renovation, carefully planned from rip-out to final decoration.

Here’s how we delivered it:

Rip-Out & Prep: Complete removal and disposal of the old kitchen.
Electrical & Plumbing Works:
- Electrician completed disconnection and first fix for new sockets and lighting positions.
- Plumber carried out first fix for the new sink, washing machine, and dishwasher layout.
Structural & Layout Changes:
- A doorway was blocked off and a new stud wall formed to improve the kitchen’s flow and storage potential.
Plastering & Decoration: All walls were plastered smooth and finished with fresh paint in colours chosen by the client.
Kitchen Installation: The new Lugano painted kitchen was fitted with laminate worktops, splashbacks, and integrated appliances.
Finishing Touches: Final electrical and plumbing fixes completed the transformation.

Throughout the process, we communicated closely with the clients — especially regarding the seating area they’d requested. During design sessions, our team used 2D plans to accurately show how the space would work, ensuring the perfect fit before installation.
