About The Project

Our client had recently purchased a property with a tired, outdated kitchen that no longer met modern standards. Their vision was clear: a minimalist space with a crisp, fresh colour palette, ample workspace, and a layout that supported their love for cooking and baking.

Working closely with them, we designed a kitchen that balanced function and style — incorporating white cabinetry, green accents, solid oak timber worktops, and a striking ceramic Belfast sink. A hot tap with built-in water filtration and fully integrated appliances brought added practicality to the clean, uncluttered look.

The result is a timeless, elegant kitchen that not only complements the home’s style but supports the client’s day-to-day lifestyle.

The Process & The Kitchen Design & Build In Progress

This project required a full kitchen overhaul, from rip-out to final finish. Shore Fit Kitchens project-managed every stage, coordinating all trades to deliver a smooth and efficient experience for the homeowner.

Here’s how we brought the space to life:

  1. Rip-Out & Prep
The original kitchen was removed in full, followed by first fix plumbing and electrics.

  2. Plastering & Painting
All walls and ceilings were professionally plastered, then primed with the first coat of paint for a clean canvas.

  3. Kitchen Installation
The kitchen was fitted with solid oak worktops, ceramic Belfast sink, integrated appliances, and a hot tap — all selected for style and function.

  4. Trades Coordination

    • Electrician: Completed both first and final fix

    • Plumber: Installed dishwasher, sink, and hot tap

    • Tiler: Laid classic white wall tiles with a clean finish

    • Painter: Completed the final painting of ceilings and walls.

Throughout the project, the client appreciated seeing the 3D design renders upfront and the reassurance of having a single project manager organising all trades. The final result matched their expectations perfectly — functional, bright, and beautifully minimalist.

The Results

This project was a joy to deliver — from the first design concept to the final handover. The client was thrilled with the fresh, clean look of the kitchen, especially the Belfast sink they had always dreamed of having. The colour palette, oak worktops, and overall finish came together exactly as envisioned.

For us at Shore Fit Kitchens, the best part was handing over a fully completed, ready-to-use kitchen — beautifully finished, fully functional, and ready for everyday life. Another happy customer and another kitchen transformed.

"Steve recently designed and fitted my Mum and Dad’s bathroom and kitchen. Very professional, hardworking, and punctual. He made sure everyone came on time and did a fabulous job – the same as he did. Would definitely recommend."
